     My view/perspective on the Vietnam War is that there were too many people, woman and men who were emotionally and mentally scared. The different violent things that were seen and happened, Let alone the soldiers parents who had to deal with every night and day wondering if their child would come home or a messenger would be sent to their home telling them that their child or relative has been killed. I feel like the Vietnam War was absolutely pointless. It did nothing but bring violence and more violence with sorrow and suffering for soldiers loved ones. There should have been different precautions took before the war was started and people started getting brutally killed. I personally disagree with the Vietnam War I don’t think it was necessary.

     I am for one against the war because this war is very dumb; we don’t even know why we were fighting or what were fighting for. The politics are just sitting around picking people off one by one to fight in this war that they pretty much started and yet they are to afraid to even fight so they send innocent people out there. People have families, lives, jobs and other things and now all of a sudden they are expected to go in a war in some other country that they don’t even know about and yet their suppose to go and fight for some other country who cant protect themselves. War can be so ignorant sometimes and sometimes it leads to nothing chaos and destruction there for I am against this war and will never understand why the government could just let innocent people die

     I am for the war in completely and totally for the Vietnam. I believe that we need to fight against the communism in the east to stop it form tacking over. I actually am e tpe of person who enjoys bombs and fights so I’m for wars no matter what. I know its most definitely not the best way to go but I want to be a little different than the average Joe.  I would’ve fought in the war along with all the other soldiers, but the difference would’ve been unlike many that I chose to be there. Personally Im for the war because all fo the situations in my life have ed me to believe that the only way to get something done right and fast is to fight. My father was a fighter, his father was a fighter and I too will continue that tradition. It’s all I have.

     I am not for the Vietnam War or any way for that matter. This is mostly because i would not even know what to do out there on the battlefield. Also, i am not a big fan of violence or fighting. There just hast to be a better way to solve our issues. I believe that the war is wrong, because people dont know if they're going to die or not. That's a scary thought in itself... dying. The less people over in vietnam fighting the less that will die for such a stupid cause. It's nice that we're all coming together to do somthing, but come on there's got to be something better out there. That is how i feel about the wars we've faught and its not going to change any time soon.

     I am against the Vietnam War and almost every other war for that matter. I think that if there is truly something to be gained/accomplished for both sides and the number of lives that we'll lose are nowhere near staggering, okay. We're human and we have different views which will lead to disagreements. We're not all level headed. Especially that fascist (f) Ho Chi Minh. We faught a war and we gained nothing and lost so much. So many lives were lost( http://www.soldiersupportproject.org/images/vietnam-memorial.jpg )along with the high consumption of already scarce resources. We can't be proud of that war mostly because we weren't the good guys and on top of that we lost a war. (reminds me of Uncle Sam)

      We are for the war against those silly fat americans. They think that they can come in and invade our lands, rape our women and destroying our homes. I will glady sacrifice my child in the name of honor to get rid of them and off of our land. Our great ruler Ho Chi-Minh believed in the united vietnam and america is terring us apart. We must wipe them from our everyday world.

 

INTERESTING FACTS:

- 9,087,000 military personnel served on active duty during the official Vietnam era from August 5, 1964 to May 7, 1975.

- 2,709,918 Americans served in uniform in Vietnam.

- Vietnam Veterans represented 9.7% of their generation.

- 240 men were awarded the Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War.

- The first man to die in Vietnam was James Davis, in 1961. He was with the 509th Radio Research Station. Davis Station in Saigon was named for him.

- 58,148 were killed in Vietnam.

- 75,000 were severely disabled.

- 23,214 were 100% disabled.

- 5,283 lost limbs.

- 1,081 sustained multiple amputations.

- Of those killed, 61% were younger than 21.

- 11,465 of those killed were younger than 20 years old.

- Of those killed, 17,539 were married.

- Average age of men killed: 23.1 years.

- Five men killed in Vietnam were only 16 years old.

- The oldest man killed was 62 years old.

- As of January 15, 2004, there are 1,875 Americans still unaccounted for from the Vietnam War.

- 97% of Vietnam Veterans were honorably discharged.

- 91% of Vietnam Veterans say they are glad they served.

- 74% say they would serve again, even knowing the outcome.

- Vietnam veterans have a lower unemployment rate than the same non-vet age groups.

- Vietnam veterans' personal income exceeds that of our non-veteran age group by more than 18 percent.

- 87% of Americans hold Vietnam Veterans in high esteem.

- There is no difference in drug usage between Vietnam Veterans and non-Vietnam Veterans of the same age group (Source: Veterans Administration Study).

- Vietnam Veterans are less likely to be in prison - only one-half of one percent of Vietnam Veterans have been jailed for crimes.

And help the enemy in Vietnam

Instead let's send that politician man

Let's rid the country of the politicians,

This kind of leader makes our country weak
